Software Engineer

  • We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our Geospatial Data Engineering team
  • Munich-based OroraTech is developing a constellation of nano-satellites with thermal infrared cameras for automated wildfire detection, severe weather warnings and many other applications
  • Your primary responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions that enhance our wildfire detection capabilities from space

Anforderung

IT Administrator

Verantwortlichkeiten

  • OroraTech’s internal IT infrastructure has always been well maintained & planned out, as a significant portion of responsible developers have a networking & systems administration background themselves
  • Your job will be to take over IT responsibilities step-by-step, while further improving the infrastructure to support future growth and additional use-cases
  • With each of our different departments having different requirements when it comes to IT infrastructure, you will have to work closely with them to support them in their IT working environment

Anforderung

  • Practical experience with Linux systems required
  • Experience with git, bash, docker and basic programming skills in a scripting language like Python
  • Strong communication skills; Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools like Ansible
