Anforderung
- MS degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar
- Experience in designing mechanical structures/mechanism/opto-mechanics ideally for gimbal systems
- Basic understanding of optics and opto-mechanics would be helpful
- Good knowledge of 3D CAD-Software especially Autodesk Inventor
- Thinking out of the box, coming up with unconventional ideas
- Very good written and spoken English communication skills- German helpful, but not mandatory
- You have a good intuition for structural elements, motors, encoders, etc.- ideally, you have already worked on some opto-mechanics to hold lenses and mirrors, requiring tight tolerances to achieve good optical qualities
- Ideally, you have knowledge of how to implement control systems around the mechanism and you are interested to have a good understanding of the complete system
