  • To do the next evolution step in the Air Freight Department, GLOVIS is looking for the experienced, committed and motivated manager for its forwarding and logistics team
  • The ideal candidate must have experience in technical as well as sales development of Air Freight services and is looking to bring his experience to the regional level
  • You will be member of the regional European Headquarter team and have to drive the strategic development within the area of Air Freight. The responsibility is a hybrid of sales, product development, and technical support/supervision
  • As such, you also have to drive account development for regional strategic accounts and vertical industries in the assigned topic area and support the adoption of best practices in countries across the region Europe

Anforderung

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the forwarding and logistics industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Air Freight Operations: Oversee the complete air freight process
  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring high performance and smooth workflow across all areas of responsibility
  • P&L Control: Manage profit and loss, ensuring financial performance aligns with business goals
  • Sales Activities: Support and execute sales strategies, leveraging your background in sales to drive growth and customer satisfaction

Team Manager

Anforderung

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, ideally in invoicing, accounting or logistics
  • Flexibility to adapt working hours as required during month-end closing
  • Resilient, solution- and service-oriented mindset with strong legal awareness, excellent communication skills, and a high sense of compliance
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, invoicing & accounting principles, relevant laws & regulations
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 software and presentation skills
  • Language skills: fluent in English

Developer

Anforderung

  • Experience with implementation/test of EDI interface via any solution is plus
  • Experience as DEVOPS with Kubernetes/Docker/ContainerD is plus
  • Business level of English
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and challenging environment
  • Experience/Knowledge regarding Logistics business is plus
  • Web Server knowledge and configuration experience are plus
