Verantwortlichkeiten
- The Field Engineer reports to the Manager of Field Service and ultimately to the Director of Field Service & Partner Management
- Within the Marlink Group’s Field Service Department, the Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of equipment and solutions within the Marlink Maritime business area
Anforderung
- IT Knowledge is a must, minimum understanding of computer server configuration, network infrastructure, and administration
- Fluent in English and preferably other international languages
- Must be flexible to work worldwide and travel varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Strong commitment to quality, and adherence to practices, procedures, and prioritizing correctly under time pressure
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit to work in offshore/maritime environments; must be able to lift heavy equipment and climb into confined antenna spaces
- Experience in the marine electronics environment on yachts, commercial or military vessels, or any offshore installation is an advantage
- Team player with the ability to independently solve tasks
